The Edo State Government has declared Friday, September 18, 2020 as a work-free day.
CityNews Nigeria reports that Edo State Government has declared Friday, September 18, 2020 as a work-free day for all citizens of the state.
This was contained in a statement forwarded to CityNews Nigeria, Thursday, signed by Mrs. Aziegbemhin P. E., Permanent Secretary in the Office of Head of Service.

She said the approval was given by Governor Godwin Obaseki to enable workers in the state travel to their respective constituencies to exercise their franchise.
The Edo State governorship election holds Saturday 19 Sept., with Obaseki of the PDP and Osagie Ize-Iyamu of APC as major contenders.
