Eid-el-Kabir: Obateru of Egbin Calls For Prayer & Peaceful Coexistence

As Muslims the world over celebrate the Eid-el-Kabir festival, his Royal Majesty ObA (Dr.) Adeoriyomi Abdu-Akeem Oluwasesan Oyebo  II, has felicitated with Muslim brothers and sisters in lagos State and Nigeria on the occasion.

In his Sallah message, Obateru enjoined all muslim faithfuls in Lagos and across the country to pray for security in Nigeria as well as an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press release issued by his media adviser, Sola Adeyemo, the monarch urged Muslims to imbibe all safety measures and protocols of COVID-19 as they celebrate the festival and afterwards, adding that they should shun social vices as contained in the holy book -Quran in order to have a strong,virile and decent society.

The monarch also used this festive period to thank the State Chief Executive,Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu – who is the Chief-Incident – Commander – for leading the state front the front through his enviable leadership qualities. He also thanked all the frontline workers for risking their lives so Lagosians can live.

He also reassures the entire citizenry in the country that the Covid-19 will soon be a thing of the past as governments at all levels are trying to flatten the curve by any means necessary.
