Emeka Oparah Celebrates Babatunde Ogala As He Officially Becomes SAN

Behold the latest silk in town!!!

Everyone wishes to get to the apex of his or her profession. For lawyers, it’s the silk, Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) a local equivalent of the Queen’s Counsel (QC) in the UK.

And so today, my brother, my friend and a very large-hearted man, Hrm Babatunde Ogala aka Beekay, ascends to the uppermost rung of legal practice in Nigeria. Now he can unapologetically and boldly affix the monicker SAN to his already long name. He merited the honor.

From what I’ve been told, this rank isn’t given out anyhow. You’ve got to earn it. You’ve got to work hard for it. And if you know Babatunde Ogala, SAN, he’s a kick ass hard worker! He’s impatient with lazy and dull people. Yet, he’s unassuming and gregarious.

He’s joined a long list of my friends who are SANs-and so I can make as much trouble as I want, where I want and when I want and they’ll be there for me. Beekay knows the law and he knows the lawyers and the judges. It’s a network he’s built deliberately, methodically and diligently.

My dear friends, please join me to celebrate and congratulate this big man, now even bigger.

As he settles at the top of his profession, may it not be the end for him but the start of an even more glorious and illustrious career. May God continue to shine His light upon him to illuminate his path to more greatness.

Hopefully, he will now stop making trouble in MoFeTo Miracle Shursh of Latter Day Scientist, where I reign and rule supreme as the Pope!!!
