EMERGE FASHION CHALLENGE: BIRTH OF THE NEXT TOP FASHIONPRENEUR

In celebration of the World youth skills day (WYSD ), A+ Fashion Academy through the Emerge Fashion Challenge a youth initiative seeks to create more Jobs and empower 100 youths with the right mindset and skills to start and run profitable Digital Fashion brands to create a sustainable source of livelihood for themselves and their families.

The empowerment is focused on the SouthSouth region in Nigeria, this is because the situation in the South-South is a sharp contrast when compared to the South West region which has encouraged the creative sector & recorded the lowest unemployment rate across the geopolitical zones in the country.

An application process is opened to the southern states, screened to 100 creatives to engage in a pre training and further screened to 40 participants in a 4 months training. 10 participants will be incubated to start their fashion businesses. The project will involve, technical  fashion training, fashion illustration, digital marketing for fashion businesses  Fashion styling & Brand Launch and Market entry. The project is opened to Unemployed & young adults 20 -35 yrs) (who are unemployed and unskilled). We are considering Fashion enthusiasts, Start-up fashion designers and Fashion beginners that have been affected by the Covid19 and has decided to start a career in Fashion but cannot afford their fashion dream.
