EndSARS: Security Operatives From Ilorin, Ibadan Deployed To Ogbomoso As Unrest Worsens
The federal government has dispatched reinforcement to Ogbomoso in Oyo State to restore peace and other as the social unrest and crisis that engulfs the town Worsens.
Trouble began when a peaceful protest demanding for the dissolution of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) degenerated into a full-blown melee after the police used maximum force shooting dead at least 4 protesters and wounding others.
Infuriated by the incident, the irate youth went on rampage attacking the palace of Soun of Ogbomoso, Oba Oladunni Oyewumi.

There are reports that hoodlums have hijacked the End SARS protests.
To maintain law and order, reinforcement of security has been ordered.
Operation Burst teams have been deployed to different areas.
The unit comprises personnel of different security agencies.
They are being joined by operatives from Ilorin, Kwara State.
“A combined team of Operation Burst from Ibadan and a unit from Ilorin are now on ground in Ogbomoso to help keep the peace, protect the peaceful and innocent and also stop criminal elements.
