Ex-Rep, Dan-Alkali passes on days after son’s death
Kebbi State Government, on Thursday, condoled with the Emir of Zuru, Maj.-Gen. Sani Sami (rtd) and the people of the area over the death of Abdullahi Dan-Alkali.
Dan-Alkali represented Zuru, Danko-Wasagu, Sakaba and Fakai Federal constituency in the National Assembly from 2011 to 2015.
Dan-Alkali, the Durumbun Zuru, died after a brief illness, days after his son, Bashar Abdullahi, passed away.
Bashar lost his life in an auto accident last Sunday on Zaria-Kaduna road.
The condolence was conveyed through the Secretary to Kebbi State Government, Babale Umar-Yauri.
The message was signed Murtala Gotomo, Information Officer in Umar-Yauri’s office.
Umar-Yauri described the death of Dan-Alkali as a great loss Kebbi State and Nigeria.
He noted that the deceased
contributed to national development.
The SSG prayed to Allah to forgive their shortcomings and grant them Jannatul Firdausi.
He also prayed that the family and Zuru people receive the fortitude to bear the loss.
