Fear now mounts in the presidency and around Aso Rock as #EndSarsTotally Trends on Twitter.

Less that twenty-four hours after the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, announced the dissolution of the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (F-SARS), one of Nigeria’s leading Media personalities,Sola Adeyemo has started a campaign on Twitter and Facebook under the hasthtag #EndSarsTotally.

CityNews nigeria gathered that there’s palpable tension in the presidency as you read this because protesters worldwide are ready to see to the end of SAR’s ban.

Adeyemo says whilst calling for total ban on the proscribed outfit says “We no want audio ban”.

The vocal media practitioner whilst arguing for total overhaul of the Nigerian police argued that previous commitments announced by the force to change the behaviour of SARS operatives and other personnel had not achieved the desired effect.

The campaign which started in the early hours of today is expected to generate some interests from Nigerians as a larger percentage of protesters believe the security personnel in the dissolved SARS will be recycled again without proper re-orientation.

Recall that IGP Adamu had announced plans for a new arrangement to address anticipated policing gaps following the disbandment, and the constitution of an investigative team to probe the alleged cases of rights violations, among others. Adeyemo believes there are many unanswered questions concerning the disbandment of the outfit.

”We don’t want back-door politics and negotiations from the government

“We want President Muhammadu Buhari to speak directly to Nigerians concerning the reforms. We want justice for people that were murdered, raped and assaulted.

“We want the SARS operatives who have been found wanting in the past to be  brought to book,we’re tired’ the media mogul submitted.
