How Police Arrest Three Cultists, Impound Gang’s Bus In Lagos

Three suspected cult members, Joshua Ubokuho, Emmanuel Yusuf and Adewale Hammed, have been apprehended by the Lagos State Police Command and two cutlasses including an operational bus were recovered from them.

This is just as the command promised to raid hideouts of criminals unleashing terror on the residents of Lekki, Ajah, Badore, Sangotedo, Elemoro, Ibeju-Lekki and Akodo areas of the state.

In a statement on Saturday, the police spokesperson in the state, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the Commissioner of Police, Hakeem Odumosu, had directed that the suspects be transferred to the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation and prosecution.

He said, “They were arrested with some charms and weapons including two cutlasses marked ‘zero 4’ which is the mark on the suspects. This mark has been subjected to investigation to get more information about the suspects and their group. The police have also recovered their operational bus. They were arrested by operatives attached to Elemoro division.

“The CP has again vowed to take the anti-crime fight of the command to the dens of hoodlums and criminals in Lekki and Ajah areas of the state. He made the assertion during a meeting with some stakeholders at the command’s headquarters in Ikeja.”

Adejobi said Odumosu while addressing the security issues in the state, said a meeting with the Area Commanders and Divisional Police Officers had been slated for Tuesday to review the command’s anti-crime strategies.
