Nigeria’s ruling political party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) has revealed that a North-West Governor is behind the cases of banditry and kidnappings rampant in the country.

 

The party made the allegation in a statement on Thursday by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yekini Nabena which it claimed is based on an intelligence report.

Recall City News Nigeria earlier reported on Thursday that the Katsina State government had confirmed the release of the schoolboys from their Boko Haram abductors.

 

 

 

Reacting to the development in a statement by his official spokesperson, Mallam Garba Shehu, President Buhari commended the efforts of all those involved in the rescue of the students.
