Nigerian University Asks Students To Pay ‘Pandemic Prevention Fee’
Abia State University (ABSU) has asked its students to pay a ‘pandemic prevention fee‘ ahead of the school’s resumption scheduled for Monday, November 9, 2020.
City News Nigeria can authoritatively report that ABSU students were asked to pay a ‘pandemic prevention fee’ of N15,000 and also register all their courses in order to be eligible to participate in examinations in a notice signed by the school’s Registrar Acho Elendu.
According To Naija News,a Facebook user, Ebube Jessica shared a photo of the notice with the caption: “I don’t know if I should laugh or cry?
“Since their SUG has met with ?kp? az? who must have given them brown envelopes, I don’t know what the fate of these students will be now.
“Abia is cursed!!!”
