Nnamdi Kanu, Sunday Igboho: ‘Buhari Don Vex’, Presidency
The Presidency has said that criminal elements and secessionists in the country are in trouble as the Federal Government will clamp down on them.
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Special Adviser to President Buhari on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina.
Recall that the Federal Government, through the Nigerian security and intelligence agencies in collaboration with other authorities from other countries recently rearrested and repatriated Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, back to the country.
Kanu who is currently detained at the Department of State Services, DSS, was brought back to the country to continue his trial after jumping bail in 2017.
Similarly, the secret police also stormed the residence of Yoruba activist Sunday Igboho in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, where two of his allies and other loyalists were detained.
In the statement, Adesina said President Muhammadu Buhari has woken up to deal with all criminal elements including secessionists.
He said, “President Muhammadu Buhari don vex. Troublers of Nigeria are in trouble, and are being given bloody noses: insurgents, bandits, secessionists, all violent criminals”.
