Ohanaeze Ndigbo’s Leader, Chief Solomon Ogbonna on June 16th,2020, Celebrated two years anniversary in office at the Lagos Secretariat.
Dignitaries present at the event include; Woman Leader of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos ,Chief Mrs. Obiora Violent Uche ,Chief Everest Ozoneke Secretary Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos,President Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos ,Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, Snr. Special Assistant to Governor on Drainage of Lagos State,Chief Joe Igbokwe,and Nollywood actor John Okafor, popularly known as Ibu and Ejike Asiegbu.
The high point of the event was the unveiling of the ID/Debit card for members by the Manager of Ikeja Branch of Fidelity.
The president, Ohanaeze Ndigbo ,Chief Solomon Ogbonna Aguene, while presenting his a speech said:
“In Ohanaeze today ,leadership prowess is at its peak in line with the ability to create smart strategic organizational growth.
” creating enabling environments with change narratives and sustainable success.
” Obviously it takes formidable,dynamic,hardwork and dedicated team to inspire and motivate others to action.
” The above is the true prototype of what we have today in the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state led by Cheif solomon Ogbonna Aguene popularly known as the Game Changer.
” Through his visionary and transformational leadership,Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state has been transformed from Analog to Digital.
” Inaugurated into Office on the 16th day of June 2018, our leadership achievements within the period under review is unprecedented and cannot be equated with anything less than legendary in the history of Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos state.
” Our leadership quest institutionalize Ohanaeze Ndigbo in Lagos state ignited the drive for a befitting Secretariat to serve as administrative and consultative base and engine room for Ndigbo in Lagos state.
” No.19, James Robertson street Surulere,Lagos state,secretariat of Ohanaeze Ndigbo has become the beehive of activities and symbol of pride for Ndigbo in Lagos state.
” Apparently ,the Secretariat has projected Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos State to an enviable height and avail us the opportunity to synchronize our various leadership activities under the same roof optimal performance .
” More so ,our youth and women wings have their respective Offices herein the Secretariat too.
“Unification and Restoration of peace among Ndigbo resident in Lagos State have been and remains the focal point of this administration .
” Consistently we maintained a robust affilliation with the Igbo groups of high reputes while closely working with major market leaders across Lagos state to maintain a conducive environment for their business to strive.
” Ohanaeze Lagos state public awareness campaign on Covid 19 preventive measures is one of the ways the leadership is practically complementing the good efforts of Lagos state Government.
” Special thanks to Ohanaeze Ndigbo Lagos state Executive whose contribution remains the icing of the cake, we have our ups and down in the leadership,but at the end our challenges becomes a stepping stone to greater heights.
” The Women and youth wing of Ohanaeze remains a great force of the administration,as the vibrancy of our chairman forum brought a major impact to the leadership.
” Upon accepting our good hands of fellowship members of Igbo Nollywood’s are well integrated to Ohanaeze activities
” The present administration enthronement of dynamic and people oriented Ohanaeze Ndigbo have been phenomenal and in line with the visions of our founding fathers.
” Like an old wine that gets better with age we have high hopes that Ohanaeze will always get better as only the best is good enough.
“Finally,this thanksgiving celebration of two years in office will not be complete if we fail to express our heartfelt gratitude and appreciation to our overall Father and Grandmaster, the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide,High Chief John Nina Nwodo whose leadership principles have been our mirror and compass in piloting the affairs of this administration.
