OSAF celebrates three of its own on professional, academic and community recognition

Osogbo Affairs Forum (OSAF) the foremost forum for Osogbo-born professionals, has felicitated with three of its members, namely, Mr. Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, Dr Mujidat Olabisi Salawudeen and Mr. Rasheed Ademola Adebiyi on the recognition and elevation the trio recently achieved in their respective callings.

The felicitation was contained in a press statement signed and made available to the media in Osogbo on Friday by the duo of Prince Hameed Oyegbade and Mr. Abdulrahman Okunade, the Forum’s Convener and Steering Committee Chairman respectively.

Mr. Kunle Adegoke was recently conferred with the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) after a diligent practice of law for seventeen years. Popularly known as K. Rad, Mr. Adegoke is the first indigene of Osogbo to attain such a rank in the legal profession.

Dr Salawudeen Mujidat Olabisi Salawudeen has just bagged PhD degree in Social Studies Education from the Ekiti State University after a rigorous and steadfast academic sojourn and a successful defence of her doctoral thesis.

During the 5th edition of the Osun Youth Ambassador Award that held in Osogbo on Sunday the 27th of December, 2020, Mr. Rasheed Ademola Adebiyi, a lecturer in the department of Mass Communication at the Fountain University, Osogbo (FUO) was presented with an award of excellence as a worthy Osun Youth Ambassador.

“In an era like this, when many youths no longer believe that hardwork pays, we cannot but celebrate such citizens who have distinguished themselves in their chosen legitimate fields”, the statement reads in part.

“We congratulate and celebrate with our ambassadors, Mr. Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, SAN, Dr Mujidat Olabisi Salawudeen and Mr. Rasheed Ademola Adebiyi, and urge them to remain hardworking and shining examples to the generation that looks up to them as role models”, the statement concludes.
