President Macron issues warning on #Covid-19 vaccine
French President Emmanuel Macron has called for international efforts to develop a coronavirus vaccine.
Macron on Monday suggested that the vaccine be “given to the entire planet by the organisation chosen and not hoarded”
According to him, “the world is in a race against time to save lives.
“Faced with COVID-19, ‘everyone for themselves’ would be a major mistake.
“We can only come out the other side of this together,” Macron warned.
Macron further promised to help fund the vaccine efforts with 500 million euros (536 million dollars)
He added that any COVID-19 vaccine must be considered a “global public good,” NAN reports.
