Reno Mocks APC, Congratulates Yakasai On Sack
Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, mock the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, told Salihu Tanko Yakasai, ex-media aide to Kano State Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje, that he is now free.
Omokri said this while reacting to Yakasai’s sack.
Recall that Ganduje sacked Yakasai on Saturday over his continued comments and utterances, which are deemed contrary to the stand of the ruling APC, which he is serving.
CityNews Nigeria gathered that following the news of the abduction of the students of the Government Girls’ Secondary School in Jangebe in Talata Mafara Local Government Area of Zamfara State on Thursday, Salihu had questioned the APC government’s effort to protect its citizens, thereby calling for the resignation of President Buhari.
Reacting, Omokri, in a tweet via his Twitter handle on Saturday, insisted that honesty is not needed in the APC.
He tweeted: “I just read about your so-called sack by @GovUmarGanduje.
“You have not been SACKED. You have been FREED. To be sacked by a man caught on video stuffing bribes in dollars into his babanriga is freedom.
“Honesty is not needed in @OfficialAPCNg.
“How can you arrest @Dawisu for criticising clueless and inept @MBuhari, but you leave Sheikh Gumi, who told Bandits and killer herdsmen that it is Christian soldiers who kill Muslims, thereby putting Christian lives at risk. Buhari must #FreeDawisu.”
