Shehu Sani Reacts As FG Orders COVID-19 Vaccine From US,China, Russia
Shehu Sani has reacted sharply to FG’s ordering a mixture of vaccines from different parts of the world.
CityNews Nigeria reports that a former Nigerian senator who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th National Assembly, Shehu Sani, has made some observations as Nigeria’s government order COVID-19 vaccines from different nations.
The politician in a post on his Twitter account on Wednesday, January 6 said he wonder if Nigerians will still look African after receiving the combination of the vaccines expected from about three developed nations.
He wrote: “We are ordering vaccines from Russia, China and the US; I hope after these combinations, our faces and hairs will still look African.”

Sani’s observation is coming after President Muhammadu Buhari led government announced that it has commenced talks with China to have access to COVID-19 vaccines for Nigeria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama who disclosed the development on Tuesday after a bilateral meeting with the Chinese Foreign Minister, Wang Yi said China had assisted Nigeria immensely when the virus first broke out in Nigeria.
