T.I’s daughter tears up as she opens up on him forcing her to have yearly virginity test

T.I’s daughter has spoken out after her father publicly shared on her having yearly checks to ensure her virginity was intact.

Last year, T.I, 39, shocked fans when he revealed on the Ladies Like Us podcast that he accompanies his daughter Deyjah Harris, 19, to the gynecologist every year to check that she is still a virgin.

His comments caused mass outrage when he said that his teenage daughter signs a waiver allowing the doctors to share her medical information.

T.I – real name Clifford Joseph Harris Jr – also added that when medical professionals advised him that non-sexual activities such as exercise can break the hymen that he hits back: “Just check the hymen, please, and give me back my results expeditiously.’”

Now, in scenes filmed for the hitmakers reality series TI & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle, Deyjah has spoken on how her dad’s comments led to her feeling “angry, hurt and embarrassed.”

The beauty teared up with emotion as she reflected on the time following her father’s comments during a family holiday in Mexico.

Revealing the exact moment she knew about him sharing the details, she recalled: “I’m scrolling on Twitter, and I see that I’ve been tagged in a post. The only word that I saw was ‘gynecologist’, and I didn’t even need to read the whole title ’cause I just knew. My heart sank — very shocked, hurt, angry, embarrassed.”

Deyjah told the camera: “Things are completely uncomfortable for me right now. We’re all together in this house, so I have to see my Dad and be around him. And we’re in a foreign country, so it’s not like I can leave and get away.”

In later scenes she headed to the beach with her cousins to chat more about how she felt.

She shared: “I mean, honestly, I’m embarrassed definitely for sure.

“I’m trying to push it in the back of my mind, so I’m really not thinking about it… I know it’s not healthy. But I’ve been doing that since I was a child.

“Yeah, he goes with me. It’s definitely been going on since probably 14 or 15.”

Deyjah continued: “I do think my dad treats me differently than the boys when it comes to the subject of sex and supervision. My dad even jokes with King about becoming a baby daddy. He would never joke like that with me.”

After T.I’s comments caused outrage he defended himself by claiming that the examination happened when she was a younger teenager, and he exaggerated the story for comedic effect.
