What Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB Told Asari Dokubo About Igbos’ Self-Determination Struggle
Nnamdi Kanu’s IPOB has now replied Asari Dokubo on who calls the shots as far as Igbos self-determination struggle is concerned.
CityNews Nigeria reports that the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, on Wednesday, noted that there will be no Biafra without its leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
IPOB made this claim while reacting to the formation of a Biafra government by a former militant warlord, Asari Dokubo.
The spokesman of the group, Emma Powerful, during an interview, noted that the IPOB leader is relevant in the actualization of Biafra.
Powerful when asked if Kanu is still relevant following the statement of Dokubo said, “Use your tongue and count your teeth, asking whether our leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is still relevant is like asking if Nigeria is in Africa.”
“Even you know that there is no Biafra without IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu. No matter whatever anybody forms or claims, the Biafra story cannot be complete without Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB.”
“Both are like the engine and tyres of a vehicle without which there will be no movement despite the functions of other parts of the vehicle.”
Recall that the leader of the Niger Delta Peoples Salvation Force, Dokubo, declared himself as the leader of the new Biafra Customary Government.
The government was announced with the names of some leaders by one Uche Mefor, who claimed to be its head of information and communications.
