A chieftain of the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) in Yewa South local government, Hon. Irede Olufunmilayo Oginni has expressed shock over the death of Senator Prince Buruji Kashamu.

The late Senator Kashamu who represented the good people of Ogun East Senatorial District at the 8th Assembly who also contested the gubernatorial candidate of the People’s Democracy Party (PDP) in the last general election, died in a Lagos hospital.

In a statement personally signed  by Honourable Irede Olufunmilayo Oginni and made available in Abeokuta described the sudden death of senator Buruji Kashamu as a shock and a great loss to the nation.

Hon. Olufunmilayo said: “my interactions with you over the years reveal that you were extremely wise, honest, overtly generous, desciplined and you were an astute manager of man.

May the good Lord grant you perpetual repose and I bid you farewell as you paddle your boat gently down the stream and Allah forgive and admit you to Aljananah Fridaus and grant the family, friends and associates the patient to bear the loss,” she said.
