‘Peter Obi Rigged 2023 Presidential Election’ – Asari Dokubo

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), Peter Obi has been accused by a former Niger Delta militant leader, Asari Dokubo of rigging the presidential election held on the 25th of February, 2023.

Dokubo stated this while debunking the claims that the president-elect and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu rigged the 2023 presidential election.

According to Dokubo, elections all over the country have shown that the former governor of Anambra State rigged the electoral process.

He further stated that Obi couldn’t have polled two million votes in a free and fair election, adding that even in Anambra State Obi can not win.

Dokubo’s statement is coming at a time Obi and the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar are challenging Tinubu’s victory.

This has seen Obi and Atiku ask the court to compel the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to allow their lawyers to inspect electoral materials.

Dokubo, however, in a Facebook Live on Monday said the election was rigged by Obi.

He said, “The elections all over the country have exposed that the person who rigged the election was Peter Obi. The results are very clear.

If they look at the election well, he cannot score two million votes. In a free and fair election, even in Anambra, Obi will not win.”
