Heartbreaking video of Mohbad’s mother begging Nigerians to get her justice

She also tried to correct the narrative that Mohbad was ill before his sudden death. She also said rumours of him being mentally ill, was far from the truth.

While demanding for justice, she said Mohbad’s trouble started since he met Naira Marley.

She saod, ever since, and after the fall out, he has always lived in fear and never had peace of mind.

She also affirmed the news of boys going around to beat her late son at his shows.

She spoke in Yoruba, but below is all she said in the very heartbreaking video for those who do not understand her language.

“I am Mohbad’s mother (Promise Oladimeji Emmanuel Ayobami), I am not dead o, I am alive and well but who said that prayer let fire burn him/her. Everything that is happening, I know nothing about it but I know that whoever killed my son because his death is not natural and it’s not from God because it is someone that killed my son. Whoever killed my son his/her house will be on fire, he will face battles and the their household will drown.

What can I say about my child than when he met Naira Marley he didn’t have peace of mind. All the time they lied about him I couldn’t protect him cause I didn’t have the power to and I asked Mohbad everytime what was the problem. I called him that morning and he gave me money and told me something had happened and he was in the studio singing so I reached out again and he said he was given water to drink but he doesn’t know what the content of the water was. After a while, he was always threatened, beaten and never had peace of mind. I used 10days with him at home only for me to leave and get the information about his death. A lot of people reached out to tell me Mohbad has died. There’s a lot of misinformation online about Mohbad they are spreading that he ran mad. Please help me ask them to bring proof that Mohbad was mentally ill. Please everyone help me, fight for me because since he met Naira Marley that was when Mohbad’s problem all began.”
