#JusticeForErnestEmeka: Friends demand justice as they accuse police Inspector’s son of stabbing young man to death in Delta
The son of a serving police inspector has allegedly stabbed a young man to death in Warri, Delta State, and friends of the deceased are asking that justice be served.
Destiny Ogbantu is accused of killing Onyebuchi Ernest Emeka in broad daylight at the Block D, Police Barracks, Opposite “A” division, Warri, Delta State.
According to reports, the deceased visited the police barracks on Friday, September 22, and he was allegedly confronted by the suspect. This led to a serious argument which degenerated into a fight.
During the fight, the suspect ran upstairs to the “D” block apartment and allegedly returned with a knife and a dagger.
The deceased ran for dear life upon sighting the weapons, but he tripped and fell and he was allegedly stabbed multiple times by the suspect.
The deceased was rushed to a Hospital qhere he died as a result of the bodily injuries he sustained from the stabs.
The suspect reportedly fled the scene and is still on the run.
Destiny is the son of Inspector Ogbantu, a serving officer under Warri Command.
Friends have taken to Facebook to demand for justice with the hashtag #JusticeForErnestEmeka. They also called on Inspector Ogbantu to hand his son in.
