Dollar will sell for N1,700, bag of rice N90,000 – Primate Ayodele warns Tinubu
The leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, on Monday warned President Bola Tinubu that dollars will exchange for N1,700 and a bag of rice will sell for N90,000.
He said Tinubu should gird up for an impending economic crisis if no solution is provided to end the present chaos the country is experiencing.
In a statement signed by his media aide, Osho Oluwatosin, Primate Ayodele made it known that if the president doesn’t do the needful, the Nigerian economy will not balance till 2026.
He advised the government to put security in place, crash the price of food commodities, provide enough electricity and promote local products in order to crash dollars and ease Nigerians of their burdens.
The man of God revealed that the measures that the administration has taken so far will not help the country but lead to more inflation.
According to Ayodele: ‘’If Tinubu’s government doesn’t do the needful, the economy will not balance till 2026.
“They need to put security in place, reduce the prices of food commodities, provide enough electricity and promote local products. This will help the government and will crash the dollars.
‘’All these measures they are taking will not work; it will just lead to inflation. If they don’t do the right thing, Nigeria will buy dollars for N1,700, a bag of rice will cost N90,000 and it will kill the economy. They don’t seem to have ideas will not help the situation.’’
