Hardship: Nigerians drag Toyin Abraham as she unveils food bank for poør Nigerians

Popular Nollywood actress, Toyin Abraham Ajeyemi has come under fire after she unveiled a food bank to feed poør Nigerians.

In a post on her Instagram page, Toyin unveiled her food bank, which she called ‘Food for All Nigerians’. According to details on the flyer, it would be held every Friday on Abijulu Street off MMIA, Ikeja Lagos.

Toyin revealed that together with her friend, they will be giving out food and transport fare to the first 50 people to storm the location.

“My friends @Smallyfares and I will be giving out food and I will also give 5k each for transportation to the first 50 people every Friday. Pls kindly check the above flier for more details”.

Taking to the comment section, many dragged for investing in feeding the poør rather than calling out the President.

Recall that during and after the election, Toyin Abraham had unashamedly declared her love and support for Tinubu’s administration amidst heavy backlash.

In an interview, the mother of one cried out over the bullying, stating that she had never seen this type of trolling before in her entire life.

Toyin noted how many went the extra mile to petition her brands and urge Netflix to take down her movies.

She added that she was intimidated, bullied, insulted, and cursed because she supported the now President-elect.

Even her husband, Kolawole Ajeyemi, had distanced himself from supporting her preferred presidential candidate.

Kolawole Ajeyemi, on his Instagram page, aired his views about his wife’s preferred candidate, stating he is not a party to her choice.

Following the election, Toyin Abraham bagged an award from APC for her tremendous efforts toward the success of Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The movie star had penned an appreciation note to the All Progressives Congress, APC Youth Stakeholders Forum for honoring her.

While counting down to her birthday last year, she expressed confidence in overcoming the hardship in the country and hope that she will thrive amidst the country’s current economy.
