Early Childhood Care & Education Vocational Training Institute Celebrates Graduation of 50 Students in Partnership With Ogun State Skills Fund

Early Childhood Care & Education Vocational Training Institute (ECDI) is proud to announce the graduation of 50 students today, April 17, 2024, in partnership with the Ogun State Skills Fund. The graduation ceremony took place at the ECDI training institute, where the students showcased the skills they learned over the past year.

The students began their journey in September of last year, undertaking various training in early childhood care and education. Through hands-on training and classroom instruction, they have developed the necessary skills to succeed in the field of childcare and education.

In her welcome address the Chief Executives Officer (CEO) ECDI training institute, Patricia Eno Falope thrilled to welcome everyone, especially the 50 graduating students. 

” She said today marks not just a recognition of the accomplishments of our graduates, but also the start of their impactful careers aimed at enhancing the lives of young children in Ogun State, through play-based early learning. 

“This program embodies the goals and priorities of ECDI, highlighting the critical role of ECCE as the foundation for human capital development. Every child embodies immense potential for their own future. their families, and the nation at large. Empowering our youth with the necessary skills to foster and support the optimal development of young children in Ogun State is a therefore a pivotal step, to be emulated across the nation.

” Our heartfelt thanks go to the Ogun State Government for the Skills Fund, under the leadership of the state governor. His Excellency Dapo Abiodun. This initiative reflects the government’s dedication to equipping its citizens with practical knowledge to foster growth. innovation, and prosperity, all of which are critical in the journey towards uplifting the socio-economic landscape.

As we proceed with today’s celebration, let us recognize the collective efforts and passion that have led to this moment. Congratulations to all graduates, We look forward to the positive contributions you will make to the lives of children, and the broader community”.

Meanwhile, Mr Ogungbe a representative from Ogun State skill fund advised the graduantes to take what they have learned serious and start their own day care business, they shouldn’t allow what they have learned to be in vein. And should not forget paying tax to Government is important after you have established your goals.

The organizer of the graduation ceremony took the opportunity to commend Governor Dapo Abiodun for his commitment to investing in the growth and well-being of the children of Ogun State. The partnership between ECDI and the Ogun State Skills Fund has provided valuable opportunities for individuals looking to pursue a career in early childhood care and education.

The graduates are now equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to make a positive impact in the lives of children in their communities. ECDI looks forward to seeing the graduates thrive in their future endeavors and contribute to the development of Ogun State. In the next two months portal will be open for other people who are interested in the training.
