Eko Mi Awards: Tokunbo Whahab Led Ministry of Environment Emerges Best Ministry In Lagos

The Ministry of Environment, led by the dynamic and hardworking Bar Tokunbo Whahab, has been crowned the Best Ministry in Lagos at the prestigious Eko Mi Awards. The award ceremony, organized by Bestman Nze-jumbo, celebrates excellence and innovation in various sectors within the Lagos state government.

Representing Tokunbo Whahab at the event, Mr. Kola Dada, Managing Partner of Solid Rock, and Akanni Ola Balogun, popularly known as AOB, expressed their gratitude to the organizers for recognizing the ministry’s dedication and commitment to environmental sustainability and conservation efforts.

Under the leadership of Tokunbo Whahab, the Ministry of Environment has implemented various initiatives aimed at promoting a clean, green, and sustainable environment for all residents of Lagos. From waste management programs to tree planting campaigns, the ministry has consistently demonstrated its commitment to making Lagos a more livable and environmentally friendly city.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Dada praised Tokunbo Whahab for his visionary leadership and innovative approach to environmental management. He emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between government agencies, private organizations, and the community in achieving sustainable development goals.

The Eko Mi Awards serve as a testament to the Ministry of Environment’s impact and influence in creating a healthier and greener Lagos. This prestigious accolade is a reflection of the ministry’s hard work, dedication, and determination to make a positive difference in the lives of Lagosians.
