On Saturday, the city of Jalingo, Taraba State, witnessed an unprecedented gathering of Nigeria’s political heavyweight never seen before in the history of the state, as they converged to celebrate the union of Keziah and Bitrus, the daughter and son-in-law of Governor Dr. Agbu Kefas. The grandeur of the occasion was a testament to the governor’s rising political stature as a national leader, earning accolades from none other than Vice President Kashim Shettima, who praised him as a “great unifying force” in the nation.

The wedding, which drew an impressive array of dignitaries, including former President Goodluck Jonathan and over 16 state governors and their wives, was a resounding affirmation of Dr. Agbu Kefas’s transformative impact on the state  and  national political landscape. As a leader, he has consistently demonstrated an extraordinary ability to bring people together, transcending partisan divides and forging a sense of national unity.

Vice President Shettima’s glowing tribute underscored the governor’s remarkable capacity to inspire trust and confidence, even among those who may hold differing views.
