The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Southwest (Zone D), the umbrella body representing millions of Nigerian students across the southwestern states, proudly declares its unwavering support for the candidacy of Comrade Abiodun Oluwasanjo Sijuade, popularly known as Omobeta, in his bid to become the Chairman of Abeokuta South Local Government, Ogun State.

Comrade Abiodun Sijuade, who stands as the youngest aspirant among the contenders for the chairmanship position, has consistently proven his dedication and commitment to the student constituency. His engagement with the student community has been characterized by an unyielding passion for youth empowerment and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by young people in Abeokuta South. Omobeta is not just a candidate; he is one of us, a leader who has risen from the ranks of the student movement and who has never forgotten his roots.

His vast knowledge, leadership qualities, and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to steer the affairs of Abeokuta South Local Government towards greater heights. Comrade Abiodun Sijuade has demonstrated, time and again, that he possesses the competence, vision, and capability needed to bring about the much-needed change in the local government. His ability to connect with the grassroots, coupled with his unwavering commitment to the development of the youth, marks him as a leader who is not just promising but is also primed to deliver.

The endorsement by NANS Southwest, along with all student stakeholders, is a testament to our belief in his vision and leadership. We are confident that under his chairmanship, Abeokuta South Local Government will experience transformative growth, with policies and initiatives that will directly benefit the youth, students, and the broader community.

We, therefore, call on all leaders, decision-makers, and the good people of Abeokuta South Local Government to rally behind Comrade Abiodun Sijuade. His ambition is not just for personal achievement but for the collective progress of Abeokuta South. Supporting him is supporting a future where our local government is led by someone who genuinely understands the pulse of the people and is dedicated to uplifting every segment of the society.

This is a clarion call to all to give Comrade Abiodun Sijuade (Omobeta) the support necessary to actualize this noble ambition. Together, we can ensure that Abeokuta South Local Government thrives under visionary and youth-centric leadership.
