The West Africa Coatings Show 2025, the region’s only dedicated trade event for the coatings community, is set to take place from July 2 to 4, 2025, at The Landmark Centre in Lagos. This inaugural exhibition aims to become a pivotal platform for industry engagement, showcasing the burgeoning coatings market in Nigeria and West Africa.
At a press conference announcing the event, representatives emphasized the significance of collaboration, particularly with the Paints Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (PMA), which has successfully organized events in the region for years. The West Africa Coatings Show will offer a unique opportunity for over 1,200 attendees to connect with influential decision-makers and leading brands across the coatings industry.
“West Africa Coatings Show will create an environment where every player in the coatings industry can engage and explore new opportunities,” stated Paddy O’Neill, Associate Vice President of The Coatings Group. “This is where innovation meets collaboration, ensuring long-lasting growth for all attendees.”
The exhibition will cover various sectors, including chemicals, raw materials, laboratory equipment, and production and packaging equipment. Special focus will be given to innovative materials and environmentally friendly production processes, reflecting the industry’s commitment to sustainability.
Alongside the exhibition, the West Africa Coatings Conference will provide attendees with insights into the latest products and trends, fostering networking and knowledge exchange among industry leaders.
With Nigeria’s protective coatings market projected to grow over 4% from 2024 to 2029, driven by infrastructure investments and an expanding population, the West Africa Coatings Show comes at a crucial time for the industry.
