Globacom and its partners have presentesd cheques of N1 million each to a new set of winners in the exciting Glo Jolly Win promo.
At the monthly presentation ceremony in Lagos, five winners received their cheques and were instantly credited with their winnings. In September 2024, Olieh Somtochukwu, a staff member of a real estate company in Anambra, became the first winner of N1 million in the promo.
Globacom is running the promo in conjunction with NCC-licensed aggregator company, Nitroswitch and Tetragrammaton, the value-added service provider. One of the earlier winners, Mrs. Adebayo Idowu, a recently retired school teacher, initially doubted her win despite several voice and video calls. However, she later realized she had indeed won N1 million and came to receive her prize at the recent event.
Other winners include Sanni Ganiu Bayo, a Lagos-based printer; Abdul Mumuni Oseni, a corporate driver; Abiodun Oluwasanmi Temitayo, a mechanical engineer; and Ashimiu Aminat Idowu, a teacher.
According to Mojeed Aluko of Globacom’s VAS Department, “the Glo Jolly Win is a lottery service in which subscribers can answer trivia questions or spin a wheel to win loads of airtime, data and cash prizes for as low as N100/day, with no need for downloads or any storage usage on their phones. Subscribers can select their preferred services from the options of Jolly Trivia, Wheel, Win & Life to join in the fun and excitement of the lottery with the potential to become millionaires”.
To participate in the lottery draw, Glo subscribers should dial *20152# or send JWD to 20152 on their Glo lines.”
