Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq is leaving no stone unturned in ensuring he delivers the iconic Unity Bridge as promised.
The project is now at the concluding stage with the laying of the wearing course asphalt on the bridge. The other stages, which include a walkway on the ground level road, a roundabout under the bridge, and the road work at ground level, amongst others, will commence afterwards.
The Unity Bridge, which is under construction, is part of Governor AbdulRazaq’s rural-urban renewal initiative. The initiative has significantly transformed several roads across the State in the last five years and has also boosted the local economy.
Like the several completed roads and the ones being rehabilitated, upgraded, and constructed, the Unity Bridge is drawing in commendations for Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq from well-meaning Kwarans.
