Honourable Wasiu Ayodele Sunday, the distinguished lawmaker representing Abeokuta South Constituency II, has extended his heartfelt greetings to Muslims across the state and beyond, in celebration of this year’s Eid el-Fitr.

In a statement issued by his media adviser, Adeyemi Obadimu, Honourable IWA expressed his joy and shared in the festive spirit of Eid el-Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

“I extend my sincere and warm Eid el-Fitr greetings to all Muslim faithful in Abeokuta South, Ogun State, and across the nation. May this special occasion bring peace, happiness, and prosperity to your homes. As we celebrate, let us also reflect on the valuable lessons learned during the month of Ramadan, particularly the importance of love, unity, self-discipline, and compassion,” said Honourable Wasiu Ayodele Sunday.

Honourable IWA further urged that the spirit of togetherness and goodwill that was nurtured during the fasting period should not be forgotten. He called on Muslims to continue to demonstrate love, kindness, and mutual respect for one another, as well as to extend these values to the broader community.

“This period of Eid is not just about celebration, but also a reminder of the importance of fostering peace and understanding. Let us all strive to be our best selves and contribute to building a more harmonious society,” he added.

Honourable Wasiu Ayodele Sunday also expressed his commitment to supporting the growth and development of his constituency, ensuring that the values of peace, love, and unity are always at the forefront of his leadership.

The lawmaker’s message serves as a timely reminder for all citizens, regardless of their faith, to embrace the virtues of compassion and togetherness as they move forward into the post-Ramadan period.
