Senator Natasha has openly thrown her weight behind the faction of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led by Nyesom Wike, describing the former Rivers State governor as the “National Leader” of the party.
The lawmaker made the statement on Sunday night during the PDP National Convention held in Abuja.
Addressing party members at the convention, she said, “Special recognition to our National Leader of our great party, the PDP, His Excellency Nyesom Wike.”
The statement drew attention from delegates and observers, as it further exposed the deepening division within the opposition party.
Natasha’s endorsement is seen as a strong signal of loyalty to Wike’s political camp in the PDP.
