In a stunning and emotional scene at WrestleMania 42, Brock Lesnar appeared to bring his legendary wrestling career to an end after suffering a decisive defeat to rising star Oba Femi on Sunday night

The match, staged at Allegiant Stadium, ended in dominant fashion as Femi overpowered the 48-year-old veteran, sealing the victory with his signature finishing move, “Fall From Grace,” and securing a pinfall that marked the biggest win of his career.

As the bell rang, the atmosphere inside the arena shifted into a moment of deep emotion. Lesnar remained in the ring as fans erupted in chants of “Thank you, Brock,” acknowledging his decades-long impact on the sport.

In a symbolic gesture widely associated with retirement in professional wrestling, Lesnar removed his gloves and boots, placing them at the center of the ring. He then shared an emotional embrace with longtime associate Paul Heyman before taking a final moment to kiss the canvas.

Visibly emotional, Lesnar slowly exited the ring to a standing ovation from the crowd, many of whom recognized the moment as the closing chapter of an iconic career.

The defeat caps a remarkable journey that spanned more than two decades across both WWE and mixed martial arts. A former NCAA Division I champion and UFC heavyweight champion, Lesnar rose to become one of WWE’s most dominant and marketable superstars after debuting in 2002, collecting multiple world titles and headlining numerous WrestleMania events.

Sunday night’s result also appeared to mark a symbolic passing of the torch, with WWE positioning Oba Femi as a breakout force following his emphatic victory over “The Beast Incarnate.”
