A shocking incident has reportedly occurred in Guatemala after a 15-year-old girl, identified as Yuleidy Ixcotoyac, allegedly woke up inside her coffin during her own funeral, leaving her family and mourners stunned.
According to reports, the teenager lost consciousness while her father, Abraham Ixcotoyac, was driving her to a medical centre. Her father reportedly checked her pulse and breathing but believed she had died.
The family subsequently began funeral preparations, with mourners gathering at their home in the rural village of El Jocote.
However, the heartbreaking gathering reportedly took an unexpected turn when her mother, Lesvia Ríos, noticed movement inside the coffin while mourning her daughter.
Her mother insisted that the teenager was still alive. The coffin was opened, and the girl reportedly began moving before sitting upright and speaking, leaving those present shocked.
The extraordinary story has attracted attention online, with many people questioning how the teenager was believed to have died without first receiving medical confirmation.
