Gunmen attempted to storm the presidential complex in Chad’s capital N’Djamena on Wednesday, sparking a battle that left 18 attackers and one security personnel member dead, the government said.
Reporters in Chad heard gunfire near the site and saw tanks on the street, while security sources reported that armed men had tried to overrun the complex.
The government later said 19 people were killed in the fighting, of which 18 were members of the 24-strong commando unit that launched the assault.
This development has fulfilled parts of Primate Ayodele 2025 prophecies for the nation of Chad which was released on Friday, 20th of December 2024.
Primate Ayodele warned that democracy will be threatened in Chad and that the nation should pray against a sudden attack and strange killings.
These were his words:
“I foresee that democracy will be threatened in Chad Republic despite the efforts of the Military Junta to see that things are going on well. The politicians will be frustrating all the efforts. I foresee there will be a new constitution in the country. The country should pray against sudden attacks and strange killings.”
“The economy of Chad will be in bad shape as revealed by the spirit of God. The country will seek for support from friendly Nations and International donor Agencies. I foresee the United States of America will support the Chadian Agenda at developing democratic ideals. At the end of the day I foresee that there will be true democracy in the country but it will take time. The spirit of God says the President will be disappointed because people that he relied so much on in his government will sell off his administration.”
The development has no doubt fulfilled Primate Ayodele’s warning.
