Tinubu Not Different From Jonathan, Atiku, Peter Obi, Kwankwaso – Sowore

Activist politician, Omoyele Sowore on Friday insisted that President Bola Tinubu is not different from ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, ex-Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso.

Sowore made the claim while addressing journalists at the Abuja Federal High Court.

Justice Mohammed Garba Umar of the Abuja Federal High Court had dismissed the no-case submission made by Sowore in the cyberbullying charge brought against him by the Department of the State Services, DSS

DSS had charged Sowore for cyberbullying President Tinubu.

The court upheld the DSS charges against Sowore for allegedly calling Tinubu a “criminal” in his Twitter handle and ordered him to enter his defense.

Speaking with journalists after the court session, Sowore said Tinubu and the others are afraid of Nigerians who are different from them.

Sowore said: “Jonathan is not different form Tinubu, Tinubu is not different from Atiku, Atiku is not different from Obi or Kwankwaso. We are the ones who are different and that is the idea that they are afraid of in all these struggles that you are seeing.

“If anyone one of them was in power I would still be here because they can’t tolerate progressives ideas that would liberate the country, the best choice is standing in front of you because I can’t be recommending people who failed you while calling them a better choice.

“The reason we are doing this is because we are better than the rest of them but they want to make sure that you don’t get the best. So, its the same position that I maintain day in day out in this conversations that we have here and we are lucky we are making history together.

“The reason this is so important is because there is a country to be liberated and there is nothing that I told you here that would happen to the political class that has not happened, including parties, coalition that are forming and coalitions that are falling apart and new parties that are emerging as politicians get more and more desperate.

“The problem that people haven’t gotten yet is that most of them are just distracting you away from the real solution to the problem and one of their strategy is to keep us tied down in court.

Their plans from day one when they dreamt of this thing was that sieze his passport and when he gets it back, find another charge and they got the judge, the lawyer and everybody.”
