President Bola Tinubu has approved a 50% discount on all passenger train services operated by the Nigerian Railway Corporation, NRC. The Federal High Court Abuja, has dismissed a suit seeking to disqualify former President Goodluck Jonathan from participating in the 2027 presidential election. The court described the case as an abuse of court process and subsequently struck it out. In its ruling, the court awarded a cost of ₦20 million against the plaintiff in favour of Jonathan.
