Justice Friday Ogazi of a Federal High Court, Lagos, has fixed the trial of a Bureau De Change (BDC) cum politician, Atoyebi Lateef Bamidele, popularly called Bam-Bam, who is being charged before the court on alleged conspiracy, obtained by false pretence and stealing of N156 million, to July 6, 2026. Following a tip from another whistle blower, the Lagos State Wastewater Management Office in joint enforcement activities on yesternight sealed off another branch of Access Bank at Land Bridge Avenue, Oniru, Victoria Island having confirmed to be indiscriminately discharging raw feacal matter into the drainages causing fowl smell and environmental degradation in defiance of the State Environmental laws. Hundreds of angry youths on Wednesday took over the ever-busy Benin-Lagos expressway, protesting against what they described as economic hardship in the country.
